Joslyn Ankenman is Grandpa's Great Grand-daughter and she is 10 years old and has not yet learned to walk or talk. She has been diagnosed with 2q23.3 (a chromosome disorder). Joslyn is the only one in the United States with this diagnosis. She does many different therapy's to help learn basic activities.
The treatments for this condition are EXPERIMENTAL and are NOT covered by her parents insurance!! With the help of an hyperbaric oxygen chamber they are hoping to increase her odds of walking. As she gains more movement she will need to be assisted and we are hoping to provide her with a specialized walker so she may gain some independence.
Joslyn's parents plan to use this fund to help pay for the walker and other therapy's for Joslyn. Including one that Joslyn really loves - hippotherapy (horseback riding!!)
