11 Bean Soup Mix
Our Soup Starter Blend can be used to make a hearty helping big enough to feed a holiday crowd but is also a delicious meal that can be served year round! Green split peas, yellow split peas, red kidney beans, lima beans, blackeye beans, lentils, great northern beans, pinto beans, black turtle beans and pearled barley come together to make this healthy soup so full of color it will make a festive addition to any table.
1⅓ cups Soup Starter mix
4 cups water
2 quarts water
In a medium-sized container with a lid, combine 4 cups of water and Soup Starter mix. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Drain water and rinse bean blend and place into a medium stockpot. Add 2 quarts of water and simmer until tender.
Options: Add your favorite broth base, spices, cooked, diced or shredded meats, or diced vegetables. Simmer until added
vegetables are tender!
